Honouring John McCormack

Born in 1925, in Edmonton Alberta, John McCormack arrived at Leafs Training Camp in 1945, only to leave abruptly, due to a severe case of appendicitis. It was then that John; nicknamed "Goose" due to his long neck, decided to leave hockey to become a priest.
