Leafs trade Marleau, conditional first-round pick to Hurricanes for sixth-round pick

In an effort to free up cap space, the Maple Leafs traded Patrick Marleau, a conditional first-round pick and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft to the Hurricanes in exchange for a 2020 sixth-round pick.
