Leafs see room for improvement after so-so opening win

Pegged as a Stanley Cup favourite after a hype-filled summer and exhibition schedule, Toronto defeated Montreal 3-2 in overtime to open the NHL regular season. But the Leafs were far from convincing against a team with a fraction of their star power.
