Mirtle: Does losing series change Leafs desire to pay price for Tanev?

James Mirtle suggests the Leafs have long wanted to address their defence and as far as he knows have had interest in Chris Tanev, but the price has always been sky-high. But James wonders if losing to Boston would change Toronto’s willingness to pay that price.
