van Riemsdyk sworn to secrecy about number change

When Brendan Shanahan called James van Riemsdyk in the summer he thought he had been traded. As it turned out, the Leafs president was simply informing the winger that his number, Borje Salming's 21, would be retired at the start of the year as part of the club's centennial season celebration.
